COOS COUNTY, OREGON — A white Freightliner tractor-trailer went off a narrow, winding rural road on a tight curve and wedged into a hillside embankment on Shinglehouse Lane in Coos County, closing the road for several hours while crews worked to remove the rig.
Photos from the Coos County Sheriff’s Office showed the XTRA lease trailer leaning heavily off the road at a precarious angle on what appears to be a narrow two-lane with no shoulder. No injuries were reported in the initial post. The road has since reopened.
