MODESTO, CALIFORNIA — A CHP Commercial Officer stopped a big rig hauling double trailers after the driver failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign on Crows Landing Road, turning onto the road and causing traffic to stop abruptly to avoid a crash. Upon making contact with the driver, the officer observed signs of impairment and conducted a DUI investigation. The driver was arrested and the big rig was towed.
“If you’re impaired, don’t drive, especially when operating a commercial vehicle. Your decisions can put countless lives at risk,” CHP Modesto said.
