Submit Media

Drivers and other authorized contributors may submit photos and videos directly through the mobile app for possible editorial use.

Submissions may include an ownership and licensing authorization so that rights and permissions are clearly documented before approved media is published.

Submitting content does not guarantee publication.

American Truck Drivers® retains editorial control over what is approved and published.

Content From the Road

One of our goals is to give professional drivers a way to contribute to the stories and events they experience firsthand.

Approved user-submitted content may appear as App Video, App Photo, or App Gallery content.

If no direct sponsor advertisement is available, a third-party advertisement may fill an eligible advertising position.

If no advertisement is available, the app may simply continue displaying content without leaving an unnecessary empty advertising space.

Our Approach to Advertising

We want advertising to support the service without taking over the user experience.

Our mobile advertising approach is designed around inline advertising integrated into the normal content experience, rather than advertisements that unnecessarily block access to the app.

Advertising frequency and placement may be adjusted over time based on user experience, campaign availability, and technical considerations.

Paid advertisements and sponsored content are intended to be distinguishable from independent editorial content.

Editorial Independence

Advertising relationships do not give sponsors or advertising providers control over American Truck Drivers®’ independent editorial decisions.

A company purchasing advertising does not receive the right to:
