FLAGSTAFF, ARIZONA — Arizona Department of Public Safety troopers and ADOT officers conducted 263 commercial vehicle inspections over three days on Interstate 40 near Flagstaff last week, removing 110 unsafe vehicles and drivers from Arizona roadways as part of the state’s Arrive Alive Arizona campaign.

The detail ran October 6-8 and also included 195 weight checks. Eighty CVSA decals were issued to drivers who passed through with all equipment and logbooks in good order.

“Remember — safety isn’t seasonal. Keep your rigs road-ready, your logs accurate, and your focus sharp. Arrive Alive, Arizona,” AZDPS said.

The Arrive Alive Arizona campaign launched in summer 2026 as a five-year statewide traffic safety initiative focused on reducing fatal and serious injury crashes through community engagement, high-visibility enforcement, strategic communications, and safety partnerships.
