STEVINSON, CALIFORNIA — Two semi-trucks collided at the intersection of State Route 165 and State Route 140 near Stevinson on Monday morning, blocking the roadway and requiring heavy-duty tow trucks to clear the scene. No one was seriously injured.

CHP Merced noted the crash came just one week after the division conducted a commercial vehicle enforcement operation in response to community complaints about unsafe driving behaviors in the area.

“Incidents like this highlight the importance of commercial vehicle safety and why these enforcement efforts continue well beyond a single operation,” CHP said.
