FAIRFAX COUNTY, VIRGINIA — A tow truck driver was seriously injured Saturday morning after a tractor-trailer struck him while he was changing a tire on Interstate 495 near the Mixing Bowl, Virginia State Police said.
The crash happened around 5:16 a.m. on October 24 on southbound I-495, north of southbound Interstate 95, according to the preliminary investigation. The tow truck driver was taken to a hospital. The collision also caused a fuel leak.
