Ohio Cement Truck Driver Cited After Spilling Concrete Across Multiple Lakewood Roads — Caught on Ring Doorbell Cameras

LAKEWOOD, OHIO — A cement truck driver was cited Thursday afternoon after spilling concrete across multiple roads in Lakewood, with neighbors capturing the mess on Ring doorbell cameras before police, fire, and public works crews arrived to close the affected roads and begin cleanup.

Lakewood Director of Public Works Chris Gordon said the spill on Detroit Road was reported around 4:30 p.m. Crews arrived within minutes and began closing affected roads. The roads were reopened and back to normal by 8 p.m.

Lakewood Police cited the driver and said the city will work with the trucking company to recover cleanup costs.
