SAN ONOFRE, CALIFORNIA — CHP San Onofre Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Facility inspectors found two missing wheel fasteners during a routine inspection this week, using the find as a reminder that a quick check of wheel fasteners before hitting the road can prevent a dangerous situation or an out-of-service violation.
“Remember to check wheel fasteners regularly. A few seconds can help prevent a serious incident or a violation that could place the vehicle out of service,” CHP said.
