CHRISTIAN COUNTY, KENTUCKY — A tractor-trailer driver was cut out of his truck and flown to a Nashville hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries after his rig ran off Bradshaw Road, hit a fence, and overturned Tuesday afternoon.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies were called at 1:38 p.m. on November 3 to the 5000 block of Bradshaw Road. The truck was traveling southbound when it left the roadway, struck a fence, and overturned before coming to rest. Rescuers extricated the driver, and Hopkinsville EMS took him to meet a waiting helicopter.

Bradshaw Road was blocked while the crash was cleaned up. Pembroke Fire Department and Christian County Rescue assisted deputies.

The sheriff’s office did not say what caused the truck to leave the road.
