ARKANSAS — Two Arkansas Highway Police K9 units made significant drug finds during commercial vehicle traffic stops along Interstate 40, uncovering a combined haul that included 254 kilos of cocaine valued at approximately $5.1 million, methamphetamine, marijuana, mushrooms, and a stolen UTV.
In the first stop, K9 Mack alerted to the presence of illegal substances in the vehicle. A search turned up 254 kilos of cocaine valued at approximately $5.1 million and 2 kilos of methamphetamine valued at approximately $22,000.
In a separate stop, K9 Drake alerted to another commercial vehicle. Officers found 11 pounds of marijuana valued at approximately $33,000, 1 gram of methamphetamine valued at approximately $100, 4.2 ounces of mushrooms, and a stolen UTV.
