LAKE CHARLES, LOUISIANA — Lake Charles Police need the public’s help. They are trying to identify a tractor-trailer spotted on westbound Interstate 10 near the Calcasieu River Bridge Sunday morning. The vehicle shows significant wheel and equipment loss. It needs urgent repair.
The tractor-trailer traveled westbound on I-10 at approximately 6:20 a.m. on March 22, 2026. That timing is significant. Just minutes earlier, a bucket truck went over the side of the Calcasieu River Bridge during a multi-vehicle pileup on the same stretch of highway. Investigators want to know if the two incidents are connected.
