AUTAUGA COUNTY, ALABAMA — A semi-truck driver died Sunday morning after a single-vehicle crash on northbound Interstate 65 near mile marker 189.
Pine Level firefighters responded at 10:53 a.m. on April 27 and found the semi-tractor trailer with significant damage. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Lane closures remained in effect until approximately 2:00 p.m.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency and the Autauga County Coroner’s Office are handling the investigation. No further details have been released.
