COLUMBIA COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA — Pennsylvania State Police seized more than $1.2 million worth of marijuana products from a tractor-trailer during a traffic stop on Interstate 80 in mid-March.

Troopers conducted an inspection on March 16 at the Mifflinville Rest Area in Mifflin Township as part of a specialized detail. During the inspection, a strong odor of marijuana caught the trooper’s attention. Inside the trailer, troopers found five pallets packed with marijuana pre-rolls.

Troopers executed a search warrant on the trailer on March 19. The full contents included five pallets of premium infused pre-rolled cannabis joints, premium cannabis-infused edibles, cannabis disposable vape pens, and cannabis vape pod systems. The total estimated value came to $1,226,180.

Pennsylvania State Police Troop N’s Motor Carrier Safety Assistance Program Unit is investigating the case.

All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
