DAYTON, OHIO — A Dayton-area FedEx Freight driver with 36 years behind the wheel and more than 4.8 million accident-free miles was honored with the 2026 TA Citizen Driver Award at a ceremony at the TA Travel Center in London, Ohio on October 10.
Steve Brand was recognized with a historical marker featuring his photo and career story, unveiled near his assigned Dayton service center. The TA Citizen Driver Award honors professional drivers for their achievements both on and off the road.
FedEx Freight said the recognition celebrates Brand’s decades of safe driving and his contributions to the trucking industry and his community.
