SUSANVILLE, CALIFORNIA — CHP commercial officers helped escort a massive transformer through downtown Susanville as the oversized load traveled from Anderson to a power plant in Alturas.
CHP Susanville said the large transformer was part of a commercial escort operation handled by officers who help ensure oversized and difficult loads reach their destinations safely.

CHP said the load was being transported from Anderson to a power plant in Alturas.
