Arizona Troopers Find Three Trucks Parked Illegally on AZ-202 Despite Six No Parking Signs; All Three Drivers Found With False Log Books and Placed Out of Service

PHOENIX, ARIZONA — Three truck drivers who ignored more than six posted no parking signs and parked on AZ-202 at Elliot Road on July 31 got more than a parking citation when Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Unit troopers made contact — all three were found to have false log books and were placed out of service.

AZDPS said the drivers parked on the roadway despite the clearly posted signage. When troopers approached the vehicles, the log book violations were discovered on top of the illegal parking. Citations were issued and all three drivers were removed from service.

“Ignoring posted traffic signs and falsifying logbooks puts everyone at risk. Please follow all roadway signage and maintain accurate records to keep Arizona’s roads safe,” AZDPS said.
