FRESNO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA — A semi-truck overturned on southbound Interstate 5 north of Tuolumne Avenue in Fresno County Tuesday afternoon, blocking the number two lane and partially blocking the number one lane for several hours before the roadway was cleared.

CHP Coalinga reported the crash around 3:30 p.m. Photos showed the 18-wheeler on its right side with the rear end off-road and thick white tire tracks visible on the pavement, which may help investigators determine where the truck began to lose control. Cones were set up to alert motorists. The roadway was cleared by approximately 7 p.m.
