FORT WAYNE, INDIANA — A semi-truck tipped over on northbound Interstate 69 near mile marker 299 just south of the Airport Expressway exit Sunday afternoon, blocking traffic for over two hours before the scene was cleared.
The crash was reported around 4:15 p.m. INDOT TrafficWise cameras appeared to show another vehicle involved in the crash. A Public Safety Alert was issued around 4:30 p.m. The exit ramp was temporarily closed to allow emergency responders access before reopening to let northbound traffic exit the interstate. At least one person was injured though the number and condition of those injured was not immediately known. The roadway has since reopened.
