GOLDEN GATE AREA, CALIFORNIA — A semi-truck that bypassed a weigh station was pulled over by CHP Golden Gate Division Commercial Operations Unit troopers and found to be displaying a fake paper license plate, operating with an out-of-class driver’s license, and carrying no logbook. The truck was impounded.
“Commercial vehicle requirements aren’t just paperwork. Proper licensing, documentation, and compliance help ensure vehicles and drivers are operating safely on California’s roadways,” CHP said.
All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
