SPRAGUE, WASHINGTON — A trailer loaded with apples caught fire on eastbound Interstate 90 west of Sprague early Sunday morning, prompting a temporary closure of the highway before crews gradually reopened the road.
WSDOT East said the fire was reported around 5:30 a.m. One lane reopened at 6:15 a.m. and the road was fully reopened by 9:30 a.m. The cause of the fire is not known.
