American Truck Drivers is published and operated by American Truck Drivers Inc. This page explains how users of the American Truck Drivers mobile app can request deletion of their app account and associated personal data.

Delete Your Account in the App
If you are signed in to the American Truck Drivers app, the preferred method is:
- Open your Profile.
- Open Account Settings.
- Select Delete Account.
- Review the deletion notice and confirm that you want to permanently delete your account.
If the Delete Account option is not available in your current app version, or you no longer have access to the app, you can use the web request method below.
Request Account Deletion Without the App
You can request deletion by emailing app@atruckdrivers.com with the subject line Account Deletion Request.
Please send the request from the email address associated with your American Truck Drivers account when possible. Include your account email address or username so we can locate the correct account. Do not send your password.
We may take reasonable steps to verify that the request comes from the account holder before completing deletion. We will not ask you to provide your password by email.
What We Delete
When an account deletion request is completed, we delete or de-identify personal data associated with the American Truck Drivers app account from our active systems, subject to the limited retention described below. This may include:
- App account and profile information, including name, username, email address, phone number, and default location.
- Custom profile photo or avatar stored for the app account.
- Active app sessions and authentication tokens issued by American Truck Drivers.
- Social sign-in links or identifiers associated with the American Truck Drivers account.
- Comments or other user-generated content that is tied to the account where deletion is required by applicable law or platform policy.
- Files and personal information associated with user submissions, subject to the specific submission authorization, applicable law, and any lawful retention requirement described below.
What Account Deletion Does Not Delete
Deleting your American Truck Drivers account does not delete your Google, Apple, Facebook, or other third-party account. If you used a third-party sign-in provider, deleting your American Truck Drivers account only removes the account and connection maintained by American Truck Drivers. You can separately manage your third-party account and permissions with that provider.
Limited Retention
In some cases, we may retain a limited amount of information when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, enforcement of our agreements, or documentation of permissions or licenses previously granted to us. We may also retain information for a limited period in routine backup or disaster-recovery systems until those copies are overwritten or expire.
Where information must be retained, we will limit the retained information to what is reasonably necessary for the applicable purpose and will not keep the deleted account active.
User-Submitted Media and Authorization Records
If you submitted photos, videos, or other media to American Truck Drivers, the submission may have been accompanied by a separate license authorization or release. Requests involving submitted or published media are handled under that authorization, our Privacy Policy, applicable law, and applicable app-store requirements. Where we are legally required or otherwise permitted to retain a minimal authorization or compliance record, we may do so while deleting or de-identifying unnecessary account-profile data.
How Long Does Deletion Take?
In-app deletion is designed to begin immediately after confirmation. For requests submitted by email, we aim to complete verified requests within 30 days, unless additional time is reasonably required for verification, security, legal compliance, or the handling of data that is subject to a lawful retention requirement.
